Taylor Helms is a multidisciplinary artist from Cincinnati Ohio. She completed her BFA in Fine Art with a minor in Art History in 2021 from the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning. Helms has worked as a muralist with ArtWorks Cincinnati since 2013, working on more than 10 projects including the Cincinnati Strongman Mural: Henry Holtgrewe, Cincinnati Toy Heritage Mural, Emerge: Women's Art Club of Cincinnati Mural, and the James Brown Mural. Helms' personal work focuses on portraiture, realism and surrealism. She is passionate about color theory and capturing personality through expression. Alongside public art she is very prominent in the Theatre and Performing Arts scene as a Scenic Artist, working with Playhouse in The Park, Cincinnati Opera, Cincinnati Ballet and Cincinnati Landmark Productions. She is greatly looking forward to completing her MFA in Stage Design at the College Conservatory of Music.
